| In 1971 he opens his first major show at the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna | ||
| 2003/2004 a comprehensive retrospective of his work took place at the Museum Danubiana in Bratislava. | ||
| In 1988, he was elected President of the international artists association "art/diagonal", an office he still holds today. Since 1995, he has been the Austrian representative at the artists association "Europa 24" which is sponsored by the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. | ||
